The Manly Marlins have retained third spot on the ladder after defeating Penrith 44 to 29. After Manly took the lead early in the match, Penrith worked hard to stay in the game, scoring four tries to earn their first match point of the season. Although it is their seventh loss of the season, the Emus continue to fight hard in every match and will take heart from the double from wing Paula Katoa and tries from prop Peter Niumata and wing Keori Okati.
