Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has named a 31-man squad for the opening game of The Rugby Championship against South Africa.
Cheika ran his eye over the squad during a week long camp on the Sunshine Coast after naming an initial 40-man squad, and has cut it down to 31 before the first Test in Brisbane next Saturday.
The squad includes two uncapped players in Brumbies lock Rory Arnold and Waratahs winger Taqele Naiyaravoro.
The players to miss out from the initial squad are: Nick Cummins, Dave Dennis, Tetera Faulkner, James Hanson, Samu Kerevi, Christian Lealiifano, Wycliff Palu, Toby Smith and Nic White but all are still part of a wider training squad.
