Gregan to quit Brumbies
Due to the new ARU governance stipulations set to take effect on 22 April, George Gregan will need to step down as coaching consultant to the Brumbies if he is to retain his place on the new ‘independent’ ARU board. Gregan had been working with the halfbacks Nic White and Ian Prior in the pre-season.

James O’Connor’s playing interest in the nation’s capital has been squashed by Wallabies legend and Brumbies coach Stephen ‘Bernie’ Larkham, who said that there just wasn’t room for the member of the Three Amigos.
Bernie wasn’t joking: this weekend they need to figure out what to do with a returning Jesse Mogg, a rested Matt Toomua, an in-form Christian Lealiifano and the Wallaby centre Pat McCabe.

McMeniman stays with the Force
The born-again Wallaby hopeful has signed for a further two years out west. We await scan results but it looks as if ‘Madness’ may well be back within six weeks – in time for the British Lions series.
