Penrith v Northern Suburbs
Trailing just 7-0 late in the first half, Penrith’s second period capitulation saw Norths run away with a comfortable seven-try 49-0 victory at Nepean Rugby Park. Struggling with limited possession, the Emus were no match for Norths’ dangerous backline. Although they remain bottom of the table, the Penrith side will take heart from their first half performance as they continue to search for their first points of the year.
