2. Force Unearth New Star
There’s not much to say about the Force that this recent article hasn’t already.
Trying not to repeat any of the content from that post, I do want to mention that they uncovered a new star in their last game against the Blues (well new for most of us anyway).
Akira Ioane, the Blues blind-side flanker. The 19 year old fits the mould with his 1.94cm 111kg frame but its his incredible pace that has most people talking, holding off Nick Cummins down the wing to go in for the Blues (1 minute 29 seconds into the below video).
Ioane earned his Blues contract after a stunning performance at the 2014 Wellington Sevens, something tells me he would have been handy at that format too.
