2. Worrying home form of Australian sides
Four of the five Australian sides have lost games at home this year and is a trend that is starting to become worrying. It used to be that playing at home would give you a massive advantage but not so for the Australian sides in 2015.
The touring form of the South Africans in particular should make Australian teams sit up and take notice.
So far in 2015 the Lions, Stormers and Cheetahs have tasted victory in Australia with the Lions snaring a rare double win over the Rebels and Reds respectively. The Bulls and Sharks are yet to tour with the Sharks up against the Waratahs and Reds on their tour, whilst the Bulls face the Brumbies and Rebels.
The Reds aren’t having the best of seasons and are 1 from 4 at home with their sole victory over the Force way back in Round 2 and the Waratahs have already lost twice at home to the Force and Stormers, leaving them
The Force and Rebels home record is also concerning with the Rebels sole home win over the Reds out of four games although they were right in the games against the Brumbies and Waratahs. The Force have yet to win at home with the Force field over in Perth raided on three occasions in 2015.
On the other hand the Brumbies are undefeated at home in 2015 after three home games and currently on a 11 match winning streak at home with the Rebels and Highlanders next on their agenda.
