A few observations from the weekend:
James Slipper has overtaken Dan Palmer as the leading tighthead.
Higgers has drawn level with Ben Mowen in the battle for the 6 jersey.
Jesse Mogg may now be third in the fullback pecking order. Forth even if you include the incumbent, Berrick Barnes, who was good there on the EOYT.
Digby is a lock. There was a 80-90% chance he would be picked before this weekend. Make that 100%.
Ben Tapuai will be lucky to be picked in the 31-man squad.
Israel Folau has secured a spot in the 22, and probably in the 15.
