Loosehead: Roger Gould
Roger didn’t get to play a lot of sevens. I got to play a few times with him in Hong Kong. But he was a very good sevens player because of his physicality and size whereby he could draw in defenders and off-load the pass. He was also one of the fittest in the squad and had fantastic game sense. In this day and age, size does matter and Roger would have thrived in the current age.
