Hopefully you’ve all figured out by now that our post BIG CHANGES at G&GR was indeed an April Fools joke. If you haven’t then I’m thinking you’re no longer reading the site. Fair enough.
The idea was a collaboration between a few of us and the inspired words were done by Zeno. You may remember a few months back a fracas in the comments of a match review where a couple of commenters pointed out the woeful editing on the site. Well, one of those commenters (Zeno) put his money where his mouth is and has been helping make the rest of us look good. Thanks Zeno.
To put your mind at rest, G&GR isn’t close to getting sold any time soon – no one will have it! So you can look forward to the same amateur Aussie rugby escapism for a while yet. Although, it was noted that the highest rated comment on the spoof post was from Matty K;
I for one welcome our new pie eating overlords and have always hated those toss pots who ran this place.
