4. Fantastic Forces Fabulous Four.
This isn’t going to be easy. It’s going to hurt a bit. Here goes.
Congratulations to the Western Force and their amazing coach Michael Foley. Winning four on the trot for the first time in the clubs short history.
They did it the hard way with a come from behind win only scoring the winning try in the 77th minute against the hapless Queensland Reds. Add to that the early loss of in form Centre Solomani Rasalea to a shoulder (?) injury and Angus Cotterals stint in the sin bin for a shoulder charge and it starts to look like a very good win.
The Force now sit in fifth position on the ladder only two points behind the Waratahs leading in to their game next weekend. If I had said to you Tahs v Force would be match of the round eight weeks ago you would have laughed me out of the pool room but it doesn’t sound that funny anymore. Does it?
I haven’t been able to bring myself to re-watch this game but I will in the next couple of days. Just to check if it’s as bad as I remember. (bad from a Reds supporters point of view.)
