Kerevi Injured
Reds centre Samu Kerevi has broken his hand in the Reds 30-17 win over the Cheetahs at Suncorp Stadium.
Kerevi will undergo surgery on Tuesday and is expected to be out for up to four weeks leaving him in a race to be fit for the Wallabies first test against England on June 11.
“He’s got a level head on himself,” Reds captain James Slipper said.
“We’d be extremely disappointed if Samu missed any games. He’s playing great rugby, he is one of our young leaders and we all know he’s a future Wallaby if he stays humble and keeps working.”

Roff May Replace Jones
Former Brumby Joe Roff is looming as a potential replacement for outgoing Brumbies CEO Michael Jones.
Jones reached a confidential settlement with the Brumbies board to leave the job and allegedly walked away with $500 000.
On Friday Jones revealed he wanted to launch an investigation into the behaviour of captain Stephen Moore and Scott Fardy.
The Brumbies confirmed they would not be investigating Moore or Fardy.
“We can confirm that the Brumbies are not conducting any investigation into the actions of either player,” a Brumbies spokesman said.
“The board and management take the issue of workplace behaviour very seriously and ensure that any complaints received are dealt with appropriately to ensure the rights of our players and staff are protected.”

Tahs to Avoid Complacency
Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson says his side must avoid any complacency after back to back wins on the road.
Only two points separate the top three teams in the Australian conference now.
“We’ve come through a bit of a tough patch with some losses and now to have two wins on the road gives us a lot of confidence and belief that we can compete against the best teams in the competition,” Gibson said.
“It keeps us very competitive.
“We’ve really got our preparation and our training right. We’re doing things better off the field and those results are starting to show on the field.”

Bye to Refresh Rebels
The Melbourne Rebels have a chance to refresh during their bye week before taking on the Brumbies at home.
Head coach Tony McGahan is expecting 6 or 7 players to return from injury in the coming weeks.
“It is probably one of our most important weeks, to be honest,” he said.
“We probably have about six or seven key guys coming back from injury, so we hope they have a good week and we’ll see how selection rolls out against the Brumbies.
“It’ll be a big week for us to make sure we recover, get some prep done and make sure we’re ready to go in two weeks’ time.”
