Kurtley Beale will face a code of conduct hearing after new allegations were raised following an investigation into a recent in-flight incident on the recent tour of South Africa and Argentina.
The new allegations have only been raised this week but ARU CEO Bill Pulver said they involve text messages and images about an ARU staff member that were distributed amongst the team environment in June and have been described as highly inappropriate and deeply offensive in nature.
A date for the hearing has not yet been set but is expected to start early next week and will be chaired by district court judge Mark Williams and will involve representatives of the ARU and RUPA.
As a result, Beale will not be available for selection for the third Bledisloe in Brisbane next weekend and has been stood down from all rugby until the matter is resolved.
