We’ve entered week two of the Super Rugby season and, wow, wasn’t week one a spin out? Every away team won – except for the Reds who went down big time to the Brumbies. On the latest G&GR podcast we have a chat to Reds prop Ben Daley about what happened in Canberra and how they can turn it around this weekend against the Force. Daley also talks us through his brilliant initiative of “Be Great, Do Good” in which he will support a different charity every game, with their own uniquely branded head gear. For Ben its about playing great and doing good things off the field, and comes after a frustrating year in which he saw the game he loves cop a particularly hard time. It’s an attitude and approach to be commended and a chat well worth the listen.
Following on from Dales its a more “Be reasonable, do OK” approach as we are joined by the usuals in Hugh and Steve/Brumby Jack; we welcome back the long lost Sully and we welcome the rookie OzTimmay from Melbourne. From there we do our best to put the lies in analyse as we give our opinions of our respective team’s performances in week one before looking forward to week two and the weekend ahead.
So plug in and enjoy the show and be sure to give us some feedback below to let us know what you thought.
