Windy Wellington is the next stop on the IRB Sevens circuit with action kicking off in the Kiwi capital on Friday morning.
The Australians will be looking to improve on their last showing in Las Vegas where they went down 26-24 to England in the Plate final and have been buoyed by the return of captain Ed Jenkins from injury.
Jenkins is the only change and replaces Jordan Tuapou in the squad of 12 to contest the fifth leg of the IRB series. The Australians have been drawn in Pool D alongside Samoa, Tonga and Kenya for the two day tournament.
Australia will play all three Pool games today and will open their campaign against Tonga at 12:03pm (AEDT), followed by Kenya at 2:51pm and finally Samoa at 7:12pm.
Fox Sports will be televising the event from around 11am on both days but if you can’t watch there, the IRB website will be streaming the games to get you through your Friday workday.
