Kiss in charge of Ireland
Ireland Coach Declan Kidney has been boned and temporarily replaced by former Tahs defence coach Les Kiss for the team’s tour of the United States and Canada in June. Kidney won a grand slam with the Ireland team in 2009 and was judged coach of the year, but in this year’s Six Nations competition Ireland only avoided the wooden spoon by points difference.
Names associated with the empty coach’s spot include Joe Schmidt and Ewen McKenzie.
