Overseas Players Home
A number of overseas based Wallabies have returned to Australia ahead of the Rugby Championship next month.
Drew Mitchell has been in Sydney for a few weeks as he recovers from a groin injury whilst Adam Ashley-Cooper has also returned to Australia after a European holiday.
Will Genia and Quade Cooper have also been spotted together at Ballymore but Cooper has since come down to Sydney to continue training.
Matt Giteau has remained in Toulon but Michael Chieka has indicated he will return.
Test players outside the Brumbies will get together in their own state-based camps next week.

Brumbies Can Match Pace
Brumbies halfback Tomas Cubelli believes the Brumbies can match the high pace and tempo that the Highlanders like to play with.
The Brumbies lost to the Highlanders 23-10 last time they met and they also suffered big losses against fellow kiwi teams the Crusaders and the Chiefs.
“We didn’t do well against the Kiwi teams,” Cubelli said.
“They have very good skills and the tempo of the game will be very high, very intense, so it’s another big challenge for us and I think we can manage that.”

Rebels Sign Lomax
Australian U20’s prop Tyrel Lomax has signed with the Rebels, leaving Super Rugby rivals the Brumbies.
Rebels coach Tony McGahan was pleased with the signing.
“Tyrel demonstrated during the world championship that he’s a strong scrummager and has well developed core skills for his size,” Rebels coach Tony McGahan said.
“We’re looking forward to fast tracking his development and providing opportunities for him to transition into Super Rugby next season.”

Lambie Out
Pat Lambie has been deemed ineligible for the Sharks quarter final match against the Hurricanes.
Lambie has only managed to play three games for the Sharks this season due to injuries – one match short of the required four games to qualify for finals.
The inability to gain dispensation from Sanzaar has also claimed Chiefs flanker Liam Messam who has only played two games.
Springbok fullback Willie Le Roux is set to return for the first time since injuring his shoulder in the Springboks June test series against Ireland.
Prop Tendai Mtawarira and centre Paul Jordaan are reportedly also ready to return from injuries.
