Bledisloe to London/NY
The ARU have begun seeking a potential venue for Australia’s home Bledisloe Cup matches when ANZ Stadium is refurbished in 2018-2021.
Twickenham and New York have emerged as potential options.
“We are a global game so global opportunities will present themselves,” said ARU general manager Rob Clarke.
“Argentina are playing their home game against us at Twickenham in the Rugby Championship this year, so there is a precedent there.
“It is a wonderful ground and certainly I think it would be a huge hit. We would be open-minded to that if the RFU was interested in having a discussion.
“That said, we have to balance that against rewarding our fans here in Australia and giving them top-class rugby content. So we wouldn’t make that decision lightly, but it is certainly part of the framework.”

Emery Suspended
Highlanders inside centre Jason Emery has been suspended for four weeks for a dangerous collision with Sharks fullback Willie Le Roux.
Emery was given a red card for the incident and fortunately Le Roux was ok to continue playing.
At the hearing Emery pleaded guilty to tackling an opponent jumping for the ball.
Emery’s suspension was downgraded from 6 weeks to 4 weeks due to his clean record, his apology to Le Roux and his guilty plea.
Emery will miss three highlanders matches against the Brumbies, Chiefs and Crusaders and his suspension ends when the Highlanders have a bye.

Brumbies Approach Fakaosilea
It is understood that the Brumbies have approached rookie Reds flanker Lolo Fakaosilea to help with their backrow next season.
With Ita Vaea retiring and David Pocock taking a year off next year, the Brumbies will be short of players in their backrow.
The 20 year old is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury which required surgery.
Fakaosilea was expected to be out for the season however, his recovery is ahead of schedule and he may return for the final three Reds matches.

Carter Closes in on Clean Sweep
Former All Blacks five-eight Dan Carter is a step closer to completing a clean sweep as Racing 92 move into the European Champions Cup Final.
Racing defeated Leicester in the semi final 19-16 with 11 points coming from Carter.
Carter has already claimed a Super Rugby title, the Rugby Championship and a World Cup victory and is now looking to claim the Champions Cup and the French top 14.
Racing will play favourites Saracens in Lyon on May 14.
