After the magnificent splendour of last week, we knew we’d have to come down to earth. We’ve landed with a thud Social Pagers. Twitter this week got awkward.
Quade’s Qualities
We’ve seen Quade wear a number of metaphorical hats – feminist crusader, SNAG, mathematician– but this week he goes a step further into over-sharing territory. Here’s a lesson for all readers: if you want him to pound your shit in a public toilet, make sure you’ve washed your hands.
In other news, he’s also shown us that he’s capable of being a sensitive and tender lover. He’s always concerned about other people’s pleasure – it’s one of the things we love about him!
Not only does he feel bad when people are left sexually unsatisfied, he’s also very happy for his teammates in their toileting endeavours. I see Digby went to the bathroom to inflict a punishment. Although some may say that oversteps the boundaries of good taste, I personally find that sort of honesty refreshing.
The Wrebel Wrap
Lachlan Mitchell – don’t change. Your awkwardness is equal parts uncomfortable and AWESOME!
In other Rebels news, Wallaby camp has been bloody confusing for James O’Connor
Waratweets
Waratweet of the week goes to Benn Robbo (who I think has just moved in with AAC et a?l) for this one.
During the week I was also tweeted a photo (by @mattty_k) that I normally wouldn’t include because it doesn’t come from a current player, but it’s too good not to.
Drew and Rocky went to the taping of The Voice live show. Despite Drew being very much Team Seal, he still took advantage of the tickets offered to him by Joel Madden. The question for the week, Social Pagers, is What is Rocky thinking in this shot?
Taken by Force
The Force boys over the past few weeks have gone from wacky to WOW to weird. This tweet also wins the Lipman tweet of the week as a standalone tweet, however the conversation has continued and there is now naked laptop usage involved. It’s worth a look for all you (fellow) twitter perverts out there.
Test Match Torture
If I learnt anything from the game against Scotland on Tuesday night, it’s that I can’t wait for the Wallabies to entertain me by playing running rugby and scoring tries. And let’s face it, if there’s a chance we might be facing more of the same this weekend, we need to be prepared. So behold the Wallabies v Wales Drinking Game. The best part is that this image can be saved to your mobile device so you can refer to it during the game.
Note that there are no drinking penalties for positive play because this drinking game is designed to make games like the Scotland game more entertaining. Fingers crossed it isn’t needed!
