The line outs were again nothing to write home out with the Wallabies winning 12 and losing 1 while the Lions won 10 and lost 2. The scrum on the other hand, was a disaster for the Wallabies. Out of 6 scrums the Wallabies only won 3, the Lions went 10/10 on their scrum feeds. The scrum was without a doubt a very major point of difference between the two teams. Not only was in responsible for providing the Lions with points and field position, scrum dominance is one of the biggest morale boosters for a forward pack in the game of rugby union.
