The Aussie Sevens team has arrived in Las Vegas for the next leg of the IRB Sevens circuit.
Las Vegas is the fourth leg of the series but there will be little time for partying with the Aussies drawn alongside heavyweights New Zealand and Fiji with Scotland rounding out Pool B.
After three rounds of the series, the Aussies sit in fifth place in the overall standings. New Zealand lead the way with South Africa just trailing them with Fiji and England not far off the pace.
For this tournament the Aussies have made a number of changes from the squad that competed in the last round in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Captain Ed Jenkins has been ruled out with injury and has been replaced by Jordan Tuapou. Sean McMahon and Luke Morahan miss out due to Super Rugby commitments. James Stannard is the last change with Allan Fa’alava’au, Cameron Clark and Peter Schuster coming back into the squad.
Fox Sports will be televising the tournament on Saturday, Sunday and early Monday morning. Coverage on Saturday commences at 10:55am (AEDT), Sunday 6:55am and Monday 4:10am.
Australia’s games on Saturday are at 11:44am vs New Zealand and Fiji at 3:02pm.
Set the alarm for an early start on Sunday with the clash at Scotland to be played at 7:22am.
Or if you don’t have Foxtel, all matches will be streamed via the IRB website.
