Cipriani hit by bus
No joke. While on a 16-stop pub crawl in Leeds with Sale teammates, the “gap in front of him closed up” as he attempted to run across the road in front of a bus. He was taken to hospital suffering concussion and bruised ribs. Check out what it did to the bus’s windscreen, though.
Teammate Andy Powell said:
@dannycipriani87 has been double deckered #hisbesttackleoftheseasonyet

And Cippers himself:
Thank you for all the well wishes, means a lot. My ribs are a bit sore. Feel like I’ve been hit by a bus…

“Oui” for Diggers, “Non” for TPN
The next stage of the Diggers drama is the news that he’s set to sign for a French club, most likely Stade Français or Toulouse. Could that be the end of it? Probably not.
In the meantime Tatafu Polota-Nau has said no to a firm offer from powerhouse club Toulouse, saying he’s focussed firmly on the 2015 World Cup.
