The Wallabies have announced their squad for the next stage of the Rugby Championship.
The Qantas Wallabies will assemble in Perth on Sunday ahead of their match against South Africa at Patersons Stadium on Saturday 6 September. They will then play against Argentina at CBus Super Stadium on the Gold Coast on Saturday 13 September.
Pat McCabe and Nathan Charles have been left out of the squad due to injuries and have been replaced by Peter Betham and Tatafu Polota-Nau who returns from a knee injury.
Uncapped Western Force player Kyle Godwin has been included in the squad as a centre option
“Kyle is someone who has been on the national radar for some time, but unfortunately hasn’t had much of an opportunity to join the Wallabies environment due to injury,” Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie said.
“He now gets his chance to join the squad, and we’ll look forward to learning more about him.”
While the team is in Perth, Western Force hooker Heath Tessman and prop Tetera Faulkner will be invited to train with the Wallabies squad.
