The Australian women’s sevens team has done their country proud, coming from behind to beat New Zealand in the final of the Dubai Sevens, 35-27.
Both teams scored 5 tries, but it was the fact that Cobie-Jane Morgan converted all the Aussie’s efforts that clinched the match. The outstanding performance of the final came from Rachel Crothers, who showed every skill in the book – footwork, speed, angles of running and even a basketball style juggle behind her back in scoring three of Australia’s tries.
