Dennis Still Confident
Waratahs captain Dave Dennis is still confident about the Waratahs chances despite recent suspensions to key players.
“We’re not going to go away from something that we’ve spent three years building, we just need to stay positive and head to Bloemfontein with that attitude,” he said.
“We had another example in that second half against the Lions that when we play our style of footy we can get it right. It was a 20 or 25-minute period where we scored a couple of good tries.
“We need to stay positive and play our game … our destiny is still very much in our own hands on the ladder.”

Lance Called Up
Waratahs utility back Jono Lance has been called up to join the Waratahs in South Africa following the new of Rob Horne’s suspension.
Lance flew out on Monday for the Waratahs last match of their South African tour against the Cheetahs.
Winger Peter Betham is expected to take Horne’s position on the wing whilst there is a chance Lance could make the bench.

Mogg Warns Force
Brumbies fullback Jesse Mogg has warned that the Brumbies will “go to another level” against the Force in the lead up to the finals.
The Brumbies have not peaked at the right time in the last few years, being eliminated in the final and semi-final.
“Our intention is to go there on Friday and really take our game to a new level,” Mogg said.
“That hurt us a couple of years ago, we went over there and played really poorly and lost that game.
“Our attitude is to go there and win.
“We want to finish the regular season with two wins to give us every possible chance of finishing second and getting that home semi-final.”

England Smash Barbarians
Barbarians coach Robbie Deans has been left shellshocked after the Barbarians suffered their heaviest defeat ever at the hands of England winning 73-12.
The Barbarians previous biggest defeat was against the British and Irish Lions in 2013 when they lost 59-8.
Former All Black Brad Thorn played his last game and was sin binned in the final ten minutes.
“It was harsh on Brad because he certainly didn’t deserve to finish such an illustrious career like that. He played very well,” Deans said.
“The England fringe players played well. Looking up at the half-time scoreboard (45-5) was a surreal circumstance but I was proud of the way the boys arrested the game at the start of the second half because it was certainly looking pretty ugly.”
