Larkham’s Future
Brumbies head coach and Wallabies assistant coach Stephen Larkham is expected to make a decision about his coaching future as early as next week.
The ARU have expressed their desire to have full time assistant coaches whilst Larkham has declared his passion for the Brumbies.
“I’m passionate about Canberra and about the Brumbies and I really want to see the organisation succeed,” Larkham said.
“With the campaign and the timing of everything, I’ve been concentrating on the players and the team.
“I’ve got time to reflect on things now and make a decision over the next week or so. We’re some way along in terms of negotiations, but they’ve slowed down because of the finals over recent weeks.
“It’s a three-way negotiation happening at the moment. I’m passionate about both and that’s the hardest thing. We’re a bit further along with negotiations.”

Ioane to Crusaders
Digby Ioane has reportedly been linked with a move back to Super Rugby with the Crusaders.
It is understood Ioane has been lured to the Crusaders by incoming coach Scott Robertson as a replacement for Fijian winger Nemani Nadolo.
Ioane left the Queensland Reds at the end of 2013 and joined Stade Francais before moving to Japan with the Honda Heat.
Ioane played 20 games for the Western Force in 2006-07 before playing 66 matches for Queensland from 2008-2013.

Hansen Re-signs
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has extended his contract with New Zealand rugby taking him through to the end of the 2019 World Cup.
New Zealand rugby CEO Steve Tew said the board unanimously voted to extend Hansen’s contract.
“Steve’s winning record is unsurpassed in the modern era,” Tew said in statement.
“Since becoming Head Coach in 2012, he has recorded 52 wins in his 57 Tests to date, with two draws and just three losses.
“That’s remarkable and unparalleled in international rugby.
“While Steve has a fantastic winning record, equally positive has been his intuitive ability to continue growing the team through meticulous selection and rigorous preparation, and to inspire the players to reach even greater heights.
