4. Victor Matfield
A good Baa-baas side is a mix of minnow scrappers, international thrill seekers and all-time legends. Victor fits firmly into the third category, and is the sole Springbok representative in this all-time XV. At his best he was everywhere, John Eales reincarnate. A brilliant lineout general, he also showed glimpses of incredible skill, like the chip and chase at the end of the video below. Will add plenty of class to the tight five.
