Tickets for the Wallaroos and Wallabies 2025 Home Tests are on sale to the public.

2025 will see the teams in gold play a total of 13 Tests across seven cities, with the Wallaroos set to play in the nation’s capital for the first time in 17 years – clashing with the USA on May 17.

Both sides will also spend time in the Hunter region in 2025, with the Wallaroos set to take on New Zealand on May 10 in Newcastle as part of the Pacific Four Series, while the Wallabies will play Fiji at the same venue on July 6, in what will be their only Test ahead of the once-in-every-12-year British & Irish Lions Tour.

The women in gold will play a total of five Tests on home soil as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup, which kicks off in England in August – including a blockbuster match up against the second ranked Canada at Suncorp Stadium on May 23.

They will also play two Tests against Wales in Brisbane and Sydney on July 26, and August 1 respectively, with the Wallaroos playing at Ballymore Stadium before returning to North Sydney Oval for the first time since 2019.

Following their hit out against Fiji, all eyes will turn to the Wallabies three-Test series against the British & Irish Lions in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney during July and August.

Limited tickets remain available for the Tests at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney’s Accor Stadium, while allocation is exhausted for the opener at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

In what is a tight turnaround into The Rugby Championship, Joe Schmidt’s side will then host Argentina in two Tests on home soil, the first of which sees the Wallabies return to Townsville for the first time since a COVID-19 affected tournament in 2020.

Seven days later the two sides will meet again, this time back in Sydney at Allianz Stadium, a venue the Wallabies won consecutive Tests in July last year.

The Wallabies final home Test of the year will be at Perth’s Optus Stadium where they will clash with New Zealand in the second Bledisloe Cup Test of 2025.

The men in gold holding the sporting event attendance record at the venue, when over 61,000 spectators crammed in to see the men in gold defeat the All Blacks 47-26 – in what is also a record points tally against New Zealand.

Wallaroos coach Jo Yapp said: “Over the past 12 months we have noticed an increase in support for the team and really felt that at WXV 2. We are looking forward to seeing that support again in the stands this year.

“Playing in cities like Canberra and Newcastle for the first time since 2008 and 2019 respectively is exciting and we’re also looking forward to returning to Sydney and Queensland.

“Five Tests in Australia for the Pacific Four series and two against Wales will provide fantastic preparation for the players leading into the World Cup and we would love to see as many fans come along to a game and turn out as possible.”

Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt said: “There’s plenty to get enthusiastic about for the team and for supporters of Australian Rugby ahead of the 2025 season.”

“There’s the Lions Series which is such a rare opportunity and a highlight of any sporting calendar, as well as a hugely challenging array of other test matches, starting with Fiji and then the Rugby Championship following the Lions Series.

“As a team we really appreciated the support we received during last year’s test window. I know both staff and players will be working hard to earn that support again in 2025.”

The Wallabies Sydney matches are proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

The Wallabies content in Queensland is supported by the Queensland Government, through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Major Events Program.

Western Australian Deputy Premier and Minister for Tourism, the Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA, said: “The Bledisloe Cup is a much-loved sporting event with a history of success in Perth, and we’re excited to be bringing it back this year in the midst of the golden decade of rugby, which will culminate with Perth hosting the opening match of the Men’s Rugby World Cup, featuring the Wallabies, in 2027.”
