Wallabies – Cooper cut, Izzy in
A 30 man Wallaby “logistical camp” will meet this Saturday in Sydney and Quade Cooper has confirmed that he’s not been invited to it. It’s understood however that mungo convert and Waratah Israel Folau has been. Queensland is on emergency footing for public outrage.
It’s hard to think of which other experienced Wallaby has been clearly outplaying Cooper at 10. Looks like the “toxic environment” might be biting Quade hard in the arse.

McCabe benched
As announced with this cracking headline (pictured below), having come back from injury just last week, Pat McCabe will ride the pine against the Highlanders this week. Matt Toomua returns to 10 with Lealiifano and Smith outside him.
Apparently this was all due to Toomua’s “rotation”, but seeing as though that was hardly mandatory, it may be that the Brumbies coaches saw what we did in the Wallabies-isation of the Brumbies back line last week.
Meanwhile EPS player and sevens representative for both Australia and New Zealand Jordan Smiler, will start at openside.

Big Kev – Red Forever
Perhaps soothing for our Queensland readers, is news that Captain James Horwill has made a “life commitment” to the Reds and will sign a two year extension to his contract this year. “I’ve obviously got a huge passion for Queensland rugby. I’d find it very hard to play anywhere else,” Horwill said. Well, he will now with that negotiating position, but something tells me it’s not about the money for the Horwills.
