Nick Cummins Worried
Western Force winger Nick Cummins has opened up about the fear of being remembered for his personality rather than his rugby.
“First things first, I’m a rugby player and I want that to be the main thing … It’s nothing about trying to get some fame or status or anything like that”.
Cummins also opened up about his doubts over being selected for the Wallabies due to the performance of the Western Force.
“You’ve got to call a spade a spade and, as of now, I’m not sure if I am worthy of a spot,” Cummins said.
“I had a good chat with him [Cheika] and he wants me to get my hands on the ball more and I agree totally … There’s no hard feelings, it’s just rip in, get it done and deserve it.”

AAC Up For Crusaders
Waratahs centre Adam Ashley-Cooper has revealed that there will be some “extra motivation” going into this weekend’s match against the Crusaders. Ashley-Cooper scored a double against the Crusaders in the Super Rugby final last year to defeat the Crusaders for his first ever Super Rugby title.
“I will be going into Saturday night’s clash with that little bit of extra motivation, knowing it could be my last against them and how much respect I have got for them,” he said.
“It’s always nice going into a match knowing it could be your last against a certain team, and one that I had very good battles with over the years, the last decade.”[/one_half] [one_half last=”no”]
Hanson Signs with Rebels
James Hanson is the latest Queensland Reds player to have signed with the Melbourne Rebels. Hanson will join the Rebels next year on a two year contract and will join former Reds Mike Harris, Dom Shipperley, Radike Samo and Jonah Placid.
Hanson is looking forward to the move to Melbourne.
“I’m really pleased to announce that I’ll be moving to Melbourne to join the Rebels and work with Tony McGahan”.
“While I have loved every minute I have had playing for the Reds, I believe Melbourne is the best place for me to continue to play and progress with my rugby.
“I have aspirations to achieve success at both a club and International level, and I am confident that I will be able to realise these by moving to Melbourne and joining the Rebels … While my immediate focus is finishing the season well with the Reds, I am genuinely excited about the opportunity at the Rebels over the next few years.”
