How hectic was the defence to hold out Rathbone on the 79min mark
Wicked game. Lots of turnover balls, but awesome game altogether! Crusaders defence was just…bloody fantastic. Two rivals going at it for 80 mins was well worth it!! Congrats Brumbies!
I hope Deans takes on board Friend’s attitude towards using substitutions.
I think the ‘Last-minute Win Brumbies’ owe a bit to having fresh legs at the end that have had enough time on to adjust to the game.
Replacements
22. Tyrone Smith for 11. Francis Fainifo (51st minute)
17. Ben Alexander for 1. Nic Henderson (54th minute)
20. Joshua Holmes for 9. Patrick Phibbs (54th minute)
19. Peter Kimlin for 6. Julian Salvi (55th minute)
18. Sitaleki Timani for 5. Mark Chisholm (68th minute)
4/7 used with 25 mins or more and only 1 of them due to injury from my memory.
