Brumbies Poach Youngster
The Brumbies have signed young Reds backrower Lolo Fakaosilea on a two year deal.
Fakaosilea will look to fill to void left by the retirement of Ita Vaea and David Pocock’s sabbatical next season.
He has been unable to add to his four caps for the Queensland Reds after having sustained a major hamstring injury in February this year.
The Reds backrow has been boosted by the signings of Leroy Houston and former Brisbane Bronco Caleb Timu.

Rebels Sign Maddocks
The Melbourne Rebels have signed Australian talented under 20’s fullback Jack Maddocks.
Paddocks has chosen Rugby over a potential career in Cricket in which he is a first-grade player on scholarship with Sydney University.
“It’s really exciting and humbling to be given this opportunity by the Rebels,” Maddocks said.
“Rugby has been a passion of mine growing up and now to be able to play with and against the top players in the world is a challenge I’m really looking forward to.
“The Rebels’ growing success on and off the field is something which attracted me to the club.
“I’ve made a lot of great friends throughout my time in the Australian under-20s team who are at the Rebels and they can’t speak highly enough of the club and strong culture, which made my decision a lot easier.”
