Folau Officially Re-signs
Wallabies and NSW Waratahs fullback Israel Folau has officially signed a three-year flexible contract through until at least the end of 2018.
Folau was pleased to have secured his future with the Wallabies and Waratahs.
“I’ve already had so many great moments and experiences in Rugby over the past few years, but I feel like I am still just scratching the surface of what I am capable of, which is something that really excites me,” Folau said.
“Michael Cheika has also created a team environment which players really want to be part of, and that for me was one of the most important things when weighing up my future.
“He has created a culture that is extremely hard to walk away from, but just as importantly, it’s an environment which challenges you every day to be a better player and person.”

Speight’s Appeal Unsuccessful
Brumbies and Wallabies winger Henry Speight has unsuccessfully appealed a five week ban for a dangerous tackle on Stormer’s centre Juan de Jongh.
Speight missed the Brumbies semi final clash with the Hurricanes and will remain unavailable until the 25th of July.
Speight will miss the Wallabies opening two matches of the Rugby Championship as was the original case.

Cake Tin Sold Out
All the tickets for Saturday’s Super Rugby final between the Hurricanes and Highlanders have officially been sold.
Westpac Stadium will host 36 000 fans after temporary seating was added to accommodate the demand.
Those who bought tickets and are re-selling them at inflated prices are set to profit.
Neither team has won the competition before so each team’s fans are hoping to witness history.
