Sam Carter Injured
Brumbies lock Sam Carter has been ruled out for at least three months with a grade 3 MCL tear.
Carter also suffered a small tear in his meniscus and a small fracture during the Brumbies match against the Bulls.
Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham spoke about Carter’s injury on Saturday.
“Like any Test player, international player, it’s going to be a loss to your team,” he said.
“He had a bit of a spell out of the game but I thought the last couple of weeks he’s really played exceptionally well.
“But I think we’re lucky we’ve got good experience in the second row with Blake Enever and Rory Arnold”.

Rob Horne Suspended
Waratahs winger Rob Horne has accepted an early guilty plea and has been suspended for 3 weeks due to foul play during the Waratahs loss to the Lions on the weekend.
Horne performed a dangerous lifting tackle in the 27th minute of the match in which he was yellow carded for the incident.
According to SANZAR, upon further review of the match footage, the Citing Commissioner deemed in his opinion the incident had met the red card threshold for foul play.
Horne has become the third Waratahs player in two weeks to be suspended after both Will Skelton and Tolu Latu were suspended last week.

Cooper Seeking to Stay
Quade Cooper is reportedly attempting to get out of his deal with Toulon to stay with the Queensland Reds. This would require him to pay a large sum of money to get out of his deal with Toulon.
“Well what I’m hearing is, and I don’t know this for sure, but what I’m hearing is that Quade has signed a letter of intent but he would like to stay in Australia and play rugby,” Horan said.
“He wants to stay and play in Australia, and play for the Reds and the Wallabies.
“So if it’s a couple of hundred grand to get out of that contract, the Australian Rugby Union or the Queensland Rugby Union; how are they going to come up with those funds? The Australian Rugby Union should not be paying those funds if that’s the case.”

Glasgow Win Pro 12
Paul O’Connell has turned out for his club for the last time in the Pro12 final. It was not a fairytale finish for O’Connell as Munster were defeated by the Glasgow Warriors 13-31.
In the Aviva Premiership, Saracens have won the final against Bath 16-28 at Twickenham in front of 80,589 fans.
Saracens became the first team to win the Aviva Premiership after being outside of the top two after the regular season.
Owen Farrell scored 18 points and was man of the match, making a strong claim for the England number 10 jersey.
