Toomua Injury Concern
Brumbies playmaker Matt Toomua underwent scans on Monday due to a groin niggle which he suffered during the Wallabies final test against the French on Saturday. Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham said is not willing to risk Toomua against the Waratahs this weekend.
“If there’s any chance of making the injury worse we will not be playing him … You wouldn’t run that risk” Larkham said.
Toomua is one of several Brumbies suffering from injury at the moment as Joe Tomane (cheekbone), Sam Carter (ankle), Stephen Moore (knee) and Pat McCabe (shoulder) are also unavailable. Christian Lealiifano is set to replace Toomua if he is ruled out.[/one_half]

McKenzie Makes his Stance on Sabbaticals
“The one thing I’m pretty adamant on and I’m 100 per cent that [ARU boss Bill Pulver] is the same, is that we have to have players here to support the development of the game,” he said.
“We battle as it is now because we haven’t got enough heroes. We’re trying to develop more heroes through the five Super clubs and through sevens, so we have to keep working on that.”[/one_half] [one_half last=”yes”]
