Lundy doubles down
Despite spectacularly losing her last wager with Pommy counterpart Hugh Robertson when Australia went down in Olympic gold medals by 29 to seven, the Australian Sports minister is at it again. This time she’s jinxed wagered that Robbie Deans will steer the Wallabies home against the Lions. The loser has to post a picture of themselves wearing the opposition’s rugby jersey.

Campo warms up
It wouldn’t be a World Cup or Lions tour without Campo piping up. Pumping his Lions gig for a pommy radio station, he laid into the modern game, the Wallabies and Deans. “Unfortunately Robbie Deans has struggled to understand how we play the game in Australia. In the World Cup he picked two centres who couldn’t pass a ball. I wish someone could explain to me his tactics. How can you have tactics if you can’t pass?”, he said.
Fair enough. But why’s he living in South Africa? “I was basically driven out of my own country. Tall poppy syndrome, mate.” Go Campo.
