There has been some controversy in recent weeks with the release of a few teams’ alternative jerseys, with England taking the bold step of using an all black strip. Well, at G&GR we have just received a photo from deep inside the ARU showing the new Wallabies’ alternative strip, which will be publicly unveiled in the coming weeks.
It is sure to cause a bit of a stir on the other side of the ditch. Have a look for yourself:
Looks pretty good, doesn’t it? It will probably be used in only one or two early games, but ARU officials have not ruled out using it in the later stages of the tournament, especially after the All Blacks are inevitably bundled out in the Quarter Finals and home fans are looking for another side to support.
Big thanks to our technical guru RugbyFuture for getting the image for us. Great work RF!
