Rebels Return
The Melbourne Rebels are set to welcome back a host of players from injury as they take on the Brumbies at home this weekend.
The likes of Tamati Ellison, Tom English, Mike Harris, Steve Cummins and Mitch Inman are all in the frame to return.
The Rebels currently sit in 3rd place in the Australian conference, closely behind the Brumbies and the Waratahs.
“We’ve got a few back coming back this week, which will really help,” Rebels skipper Nic Stirzaker said.
“We’ve had quite a few injuries, which we haven’t spoken about.
“Guys have done really well stepping in, but it is always good to have competition for spots.”

Butler Pushing for Wallabies
Brumbies number eight Jarrad Butler says he is striving towards a call up for the Wallabies.
Brumbies coach Stephen Larkham has touted Butler as a future Wallaby whilst Michael Cheika called Butler up into the Barbarians team last year as the only uncapped Australian player.
“I’m really enjoying the opportunities,” he said on Monday.
“We’ve got such great depth here at the Brumbies at the moment and any time you get the opportunity you want to play the best you can and put your best foot forward.”

Setback for Giteau
Matt Giteau has suffered an adductor strain just two weeks after returning from his previous injury.
Giteau was replaced by French international Frederic Michalak in Toulon’s 17-7 win over Castres.
Giteau has only made two appearances for Toulon since the start of April.
“It was a very complicated week with the withdrawal of Drew Mitchell yesterday and Matt Giteau at mid-day today,” said Toulon coach Bernard Laporte.
“It’s been a black season in terms of our injuries but even with absentees you must always play with pride in this team.”
