Cheika unsatisfied with Final Spot
Wallabies coach Michael Cheika says that he will not be satisfied with the runner up position if Australia lose to the All Blacks this weekend.
“That means we came here just happy to be in the final, that’s the thing,” he said.
“If you want to be happy with just (that and say), ‘Yeah okay that’s good,’ and we can go home and everyone will pat you on the back and say well done, or do you want to something different?
“Do you want to go and have something you’ve got for the rest of your life?
“They’re the choices to be made and I know what choice this team will make.”

ARU Betting on Wallabies
It has been revealed that the Australian Rugby Union has placed a $300, 000 bet on the Wallabies to win the World Cup. The wager was made with a local corporate bookmaker through a third-party insurance firm and if the Wallabies win they will collect more than $3 million.
The bet is deemed legal as it is an insurance move to minimise losses for the bonus payment that ARU has to make to its players if they win.
This process has been happening since 2003, with the ARU losing hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the fact the Wallabies have not won the World Cup since 1999.

Lobbe has no Regrets
Inspirational Argentinian backrower Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe says he has no regrets in Argentina’s semi final loss to the Wallabies. The Pumas played with pride and passion and threw everything at the Wallabies but were unable to break through the defence.
“Regrets? No. Last week [against Ireland] every bounce went our way and today we went out with the same ideas, but they dominated the breakdown and every bounce went their way,” Lobbe said.
“We were devastated. We had a dream for us to play next Saturday, not Friday, but we got in front of a really good team and they never give up. We threw everything we had, organised, not organised and everything we had we put it on the pitch today, but we couldn’t score and that was the difference today. It is horrible to lose in a semi-final.

McCaw Cleared
All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has not been cited for an alleged elbow on Francois Louw meaning he will play against the Wallabies in the World Cup final.
World Rugby tweeted that no action would be taken after the incident was highlighted on social media.
After the footage was reviewed it appeared that McCaw had clipped Louw with his hip rather than his elbow and was most likely accidental.
All Blacks coach Steve Hansen defended his captain saying there was “nothing in [the incident]”.
