Yesterday I showed you the ranking of which teams are kicking the ball most – today I’ve looked at the Super Rugby running game by ranking of teams and players for metres run.
This first chart shows you the rankings of the teams.
No surprise that the bottom four teams in this measure were in the top five kicking teams.
Despite the Brumbies being sixth in the kicking stakes they’re also fourth in the metres run which shows again the balanced approach of their game plan. You’d expect to see Brumbies players reasonably high up the player rankings too but that’s not the case.
