I suggest reading the competition rules and the prizes page to get yourself familiar. There’s $32,000 total up for grabs from Fox Sports if you play your cards right (and if you’re an Aussie resident).
So what’s new this year? Well, not a whole lot.
They changed the player pricing system to be more realistic. Doesn’t mean it’s more accurate though. There are still some crazy overprices and some real steals. The hard part is finding the break outs and the bargains.
Another quirk is the addition of the Rebels as the 15th team, which creates a different bye system. Three teams will have byes in weeks 4, 8, 10, 13, 14, and 15. That creates the potential for having a lot of your players out at once. The game allows for 4 transfers in these weeks (3 in every other week) but even with that extra move, I foresee some problems. More games can mean more injuries to deal with too. But if you get in a real bind, there is always the wildcard play. This will allow you to make unlimited transfers in a round, but you only get to use it once. So choose wisely.
