The new ASIO building in Canberra recently came across some communication from the south of France that proved to be quite interesting.
After using the decoding machine, the Off White Card can finally reveal its contents:
Bonjour Boets and mes amis,
Howzit down under? I hope all is well.
The reason for my communiqué is that I need some help over here in France. Myself and Benoit Mowën are in some need of Aussieing up around the place and I think you okes might just be what I need.
I’m having some trouble with the French lingo, in particular they keep mentioning a guy called ‘Les’ but I don’t know who he is. I think you guys have the language skills to change things around here and you know what I expect from my previous wheeling and dealings.
As you know I’ve already signed up Nichol White and Jesper Mogg to help me with my long range kicking plan and there is grande Euro’s to be made. Nichol will be happy to know that Rene Ranger is heading back to NZ so no worries about tackling practice at training.
I’ve only got two South African’s here but I have signed two more for next year so you can braai with them. Montpellier is also right on the coast so no more day trips to Batemans Bay will be needed for your fix of surfing.
Being in Canberra, I know you have easy access to the French Embassy to undertake the next step in getting your visa’s organised – just tell them I sent you. I have arranged beginner French lessons at Alliance-Française and can get a group discount if you enter the promo code ‘Brumbies’ when you sign up.
P.S. Can one of you bring over that coaching manual I left behind for Bernard Larkham since he doesn’t seem to be using it. Also, some biltong from that shop near Mooseheads.
Au revoir,
Jake Blanc
