Beale Confident
Kurtley Beale is confident of success at his new club, Wasps, in England.
Beale struggled when he moved away from his family and support networks when he joined the Rebels in 2012 and was sacked from the club the following year.
“It will be the first time I’ll be standing on my own two feet, away from family,” Beale said.
“But I’ll be there with my girlfriend, and I think that’s what will be important for me going over there and trying to make a life of it.
“People can think what they like, but I’m very fortunate to have close and supportive people around me.
“We’ve got ways to get through the tough days. I’m sure I will be able to meet some new friends in England who, like anyone, you can always lean on and build.”

Angus to Reds
The Queensland Reds have signed U20’s backrower Angus Scott-Young for 2017.
The signing has claimed 86-game regular Jake Schatz who joins a number of other players leaving the club.
With just three wins this season, the Reds have started a huge overhaul which see’s the departure of Greg Holmes, Jake Schatz, Liam Gill, Curtis Browning, Lolo Fakaosilea, Anthony and Saia Faingaa, Ben Daley, Ayumu Goromaru, Jamie-Jerry Taulagi, Sam Greene, Scott Gale and Ben Matwijow.
Scott-Young will compete for a backrow sport next year against Leroy Houston, Hendrik Tui, George Smith, Caleb Timu, Adam Korczyk and Michael Gunn.

Messam Ineligible
Chiefs flanker Liam Messam has been ruled ineligible to play in the Super Rugby finals.
Messam was required to play four regular season matches but he only played two against the Reds and Highlanders.
The decision was made by SANZAAR just six hours before the Chiefs were due to head to the airport to fly to Cape Town.
The Chiefs are understood to be furious with the timing and the decision itself.
The Chiefs are also without centre Seta Tamanivalu due to a knee injury.
