With only ten days before the Super Rugby season begins it is time to start thinking about the two most crucial pillars of a great season – tipping and fantasy rugby.
Tipping
Like last year the Green and Gold tipping comp will be run by our friends at Superbru. Get over there, sign up and enter the following details:

This is a simple yet effective tipping comp, where you have to pick both a winner and a winning margin for each game. Points are awarded for a correct tip, and bonus points are awarded if your margin prediction is within 5. If you are the closest in the pool to the result then you get even more points. So it rewards both consistency and accuracy. If you are confused or uncertain, don’t worry. We will be providing plenty of good tipping advice this year. And probably a fair bit of shit advice as well.
Fantasy
Once again we will be using the competition set up at Foxsports . Get over there, sign up and then enter the following:

All players are welcome, and if you have never played fantasy before then don’t fear. I will post a bunch of tips next week as we get closer to kick-off. The rules are quite complex and I suggest having a read on the website, as there has been a couple of changes from last year.
Green and Gold Rugby has a great winning record in this competition. Our pool has provided the overall money winner in two of the last three years, and has won the overall league average comp for the last two seasons. So the moral of the story is if you want to be good at fantasy join our pool!
