Cummins signing confirmed
The Honey Badger has now definitively signed a contract with the Force, putting him in line for the Wallabies 2015 Rugby World Cup plans. “I’m stoked to be back on the burst and returning to Australian rugby in 2015,” he said. “Gonna be a huge year. Can’t wait to get amongst it!”
Cummins played five months of rugby with the Coca-Cola West Red Sparks after being allowed a release from his Force contract for compassionate reasons, heading overseas so that he could support several sick family members.

UK to vote on salary cap
Saracens have announced their desire to propose at a Premiership shareholders’ meeting in February that the salary cap be abolished. Gloucester chief executive, Stephen Vaughan, was one of many dissenting voices, stating that, “Having a small number of clubs going off into the distance and beyond the means of others would be a bad move for English rugby.”
Saracens currently claim to have the support of six other clubs, although the club would need to get 75% shareholder vote in favour, which would mean 12 clubs agreeing to end the cap after the end of next season.
