Four Wallabies based in Australia have played for longer than seven years will earning 60 caps.
Adam Ashley-Cooper* (104 caps, Australian Contract since 2004 – 12 years)
Ashley-Cooper made his Wallabies debut alongside best mate Drew Mitchell against the Springboks in 2005, impressing selectors with his form at the Brumbies to warrant his inclusion. Ashley-Cooper went on to become a Wallabies mainstay for years, earning his 100th cap in 2014 at 31 years of age.
The NSW and Wallabies utility back joins French Top 14 club Bordeux on a two-year contract, and will still be eligible to represent the Wallabies in 2015 and beyond.
Stephen Moore (92 caps, Australian Contract since 2003 -13 years)
The 32-year old Wallaby Captain has represented Australia since his debut against Ireland on the 2005 Spring Tour, and is hopefully destined to reach his Test Match century against Wales at Twickenham in a likely pool-deciding showdown.
Moore’s 140 match Super Rugby career spans 46 caps with the Queensland Reds and the remainder representing the ACT Brumbies.
The Wallabies incumbent hooker’s contract expires after the 2016 season.
Ben Alexander (72 caps, Australian Contract since 2008 -8 years)
Ben Alexander recorded his Super Rugby debut in Round 3 of the 2008 Super Rugby Season. Despite only playing six matches his rookie season, Alexander drew the attention of head coach Robbie Deans and was named a shock inclusion to the 2008 Wallabies squad.
A burly prop with a knack for finding the line, Alexander has propped for the Wallabies 72 times in an 8-year career.
Alexander is off-contract after the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and has not yet signed an extension nor an overseas contract.
Benn Robinson (72 caps, Australian Contract since 2006 – 10 years)
2006 heralded both the Super Rugby and Wallabies debut of a front row stalwart for years to come in 22-year old Benn Robinson.
Now 30, Robinson can boast of 72 Test caps alongside his status as the most-capped New South Welshman ever. A Super Rugby title winner in 2014, Robinson is slowly facing a changing of the guard at the Wallabies.
Relegated to the Wallabies bench in favour of young hopefuls James Slipper and Scott Sio for now, Robinson is only ever an injury or two away from the Wallabies jersey.
Robinson is believed to remain in Australia post-Rugby World Cup.
