Here it is – the G&GR writers’ Super Rugby team of the week for round 18.
The Waratahs and the Force had wins whilst the Brumbies, Rebels and Red would be disappointed with the way they finished out the Regular season. But who made the team of the week?

1. Ben Robinson
Was a tough week to pick some props, going with both Tahs for there defensive efforts, might not have had the upper hand in the Scrum all night but they did a lot more work around the park then the rest

2. James Hanson
The best of the Reds forwards with the exception of Thompson, going to be a big loss for them in 2016

3. Sekope Kepu
Really strong game from Kepu, 13 tackles which is nearly a team high only overshadowed by Hoopers 14

4. David Dennis
Scored the first try for the Tahs that really got the ball rolling
[/one_third]
5. Blake Enever
Best Brumbies forward against the Crusaders, 11 Tackles and 5 Line out takes. Was a good performance from this young lock.

6. Sean McMahon
Another good game for McMahon, stood out in a side that was struggling to gain any momentum [/one_third]
7. Matt Hodgson
The Force back row won them the game, Hodgson made an incredible 29 of Western Forces 166 tackles [/one_third]

8. Angus Cottrell
The Second Force back row to make the team of the week, a little overshadowed by Hodgson but had 15 tackles with no missed tackles [/one_third]

9. Will Genia
Best of a bad bunch, all Australian Scrum halves really struggled in round 18
[/one_third]

10. Christian Lealiifano
Lealiifano was the stand out in the Brumbies game in my opinion. All the talk about Foley v Cooper, is guy sliding under the Radar to play 10 for the Wallabies this year. [/one_third]
11. Cam Crawford
Been a tough year for Crawford, finally seen some game time and has had a lot of Rebels fans wondering why we waited so long?

12. Samu Kerevi
Had an decent game in a team that struggled all night

13. Adam Ashley Cooper
Really hard pick a outside center this week, would have gone with Marcel Brance if eligible
[/one_third]

14. Taqele Naiyaravoro
Wings was a tough pick this week, but Naiyaravoro continues to impress me so I have him the nod.[/one_third]
[one_third last=”yes”]
15. Israel Folau
Looks like Folau has come good at the business end of the season.
