The Wallabies European tour has moved to Dublin where they will take on the Irish on Sunday morning (AEDT) at the Aviva Stadium in the third of five Tests on tour.
It has been two years since the sides last played each other with that clash taking place in the pool stage of the World Cup in New Zealand when the Irish came out on top. The last time the Wallabies beat the Irish on their home turf was back in 2005 with a 30-14 victory.
This week Ewen McKenzie has mixed things up a little with the changes to the starting side coming in the forwards. Sekope Kepu is promoted from the bench to tighthead prop at the expense of Ben Alexander, who is rested. Waratahs prop Paddy Ryan takes Kepu’s place on the bench.
Scott Fardy returns from injury to take the place of Rob Simmons at blindside flanker with Simmons moving back to the second row with Sitaleki Timani on the bench this week. Also on the bench is Tatafu Polota-Nau who returns to action after a long injury layoff.
