An important match for the boys in Sydney this evening. The game also has some interesting fantasy implications.

The players chalking up the highest fantasy points through the early matches have been the South African forwards. Picking the next best from the Wallabies and All Blacks for this week’s test will be tricky as neither side has shown much good form compared to the Saffas. The biggest choice in the forwards would be to go with Squeaky Moore or Andrew Hore as starting hooker. Both have had problems with the lineout lately, and that is a large part of the fantasy points. I’ll be going with Moore as the Seal-Killer has been all over the map.
Another key fantasy matchup should be Giteau vs. Carter at flyhalf. The Kiwi’s have their wish with Donald Duck getting plucked to the bench, but will Diamond Dan be up the task? Each player’s goal kicking accuracy (and opportunities) could prove to be vital in this week’s standings. It’s still a close one at the top.
