The Wallabies and France Test series moves onto Melbourne for game two of the three game series on Saturday night.
Wallabies coach Ewen McKenzie has been dealt a blow with hooker and new captain Stephen Moore ruled out with a season ending knee injury with Tatafu Polota-Nau stepping up to the starting lineup.
Debutant Sam Carter will miss the rest of the Test series with the dreaded syndesmosis in his left ankle with James Horwill promoted to the starting side in his 50th match for the Wallabies.
The injury curse has also hit number 8 Wycliff Palu who has been battling an ankle problem that has ruled him out of this Test and replaced by Ben McCalman.
On the bench there are three debutants with Melbourne Rebels duo Luke Jones and Laurie Weeks joining Nathan Charles. Also on the bench from the Rebels is Scott Higginbotham.
With Moore unavailable, McKenzie has announced that Michael Hooper will step up as the 82nd captain of the Wallabies with James Slipper to join Adam Ashley-Cooper as vice-captains.
