Nic White writes his tour diary exclusively for G&GR, this week from Dunedin, where a prank war has broken out…
My mum, usually when reading a school report, would say ‘Nic, if you cant be good be good at it’ – this week mum, I haven’t let you down.
It seems to be general knowledge that I’m a bit of a prankster.
If you were to ask the boys to describe me in one word I can only assume that word would be ‘pest’. I have learnt over time, that when given a tag like this, you can fight it or just accept it. I have not only chosen to accept it, but I have fully embraced the label.
Upon arrival in Dunedin this week I couldn’t help but notice that I was roomed next to the one and only Stephen Larkham and our trusty physio Byron Field. I am not one to let a prime opportunity of this sort slip, and immediately began hatching a plan make their week a living hell.
What started as a few simple 3rd grade pranks, like knock and run, and ordering room service to their room, turned into a much larger then expected war.
Let me take you through move by move….
